Rubus niveus
Characteristics - The Rubus niveus is a subtropical fruit bearer, native to the Himalayas India, part of China and the Philippines and occasionally cultivated in the south and southeast regions of Brazil. It is a shrub, very spinescent, deciduous, with long scandent stems, short lived, similar to the European "raspberry". Leaves compound, 3-7 pinnate, with glabrous leaflets, bullate, brilliant green on the superior surface and white on the inferior, 2.5-5.3 cm in length. Inflorescences in terminal, corymbose panicles, with about 15 flowers with reddish petals, form in the spring. The fruit is an aggregate type, carnose,with many tiny seeds, the flavor is sweet; They mature during the spring.
