Tropical Plant "Mess apple"

Characteristics - The mess apple is not a altivated fruit tree however it is frequent in ature in its natural habitat, the secondary sgetation of the dry lands throughout the mazon region. It is an evergreen tree, 6-12 m .11, with a twisted trunk. Leaves chartaceous, om 15-35 cm long with a brownish inferior irface, with 5 longitudinally-curved nerves beginning at the base. Flowers are fragrant and large, grouped in small dichasium on the woody branches and the caulis (trunk), they form between July and September. The fruits are berry-type, ripening from August to October. They have a very thin skin, dense, icculent pulp containing many miniscule seeds that can be swallowed with ease. The flavor is slightly acidic and pleasant.
Uses - The fruits are consumed in their natural ate but not widely appreciated.
Propagation - Propagated by seeds.
