Pindo Palm Tree

The Pindo Palm Tree (Butia capitata) is a native of Brazil and Uruguay but now can be found all through out northern Florida, Georgia, parts of North and South Carolina, Texas and Southern California. This palm is also commonly called the Jelly Palm because of the product made from the fruit “Jelly”.
